Questions About the Recruitment Process

Q - Who can I talk to about the status of my application, or about other job postings that I may be interested in?
A - You can check the status of your job submission on the “My Jobpage” tab on our career site. To do this you’ll need your username and password. Once you’ve signed in, click on the tab at the top marked “My Jobpage”. It will show your “Completed Submissions” along with a current status. If your application is under “Draft Submissions” you haven’t completed the application process and need to complete and submit it before it will be considered.

Q - What if I don’t have access to a computer?
A - We have computers available on our campus for candidates to use in order to submit applications. Additionally, your local library often provides computers for public use.

Q - After I submit my application, how soon can I expect to hear back?
A - The Talent Acquisition team is continuously reviewing applications. You can expect to hear back as soon as there is an update on the position. Q - Can I change or edit my application after submitting?
A - Following submission of your application, you can view and edit the application details until it is processed, or until the position is closed. Once the application is processed or position closed, you can no longer view or edit your application. We encourage you to make any necessary edits as soon as possible after submitting. If the application is still editable, there is a link at the bottom of the submission on “My Jobpage” showing “View/Edit Submission.” If this link is not available, then the application is no longer editable.

Q - While filling out my application, can I stop and come back to it later?
A - Yes, as long as you save your progress, you may log back into the application site and finish your application at any time.

Q - How frequently are new jobs posted?
A - We are committed to posting our positions as soon as they are available. This means that our job postings may change daily, so we encourage you to check our careers site frequently.

Q - Is there a limit to the number of jobs to which I can apply?
A - No, however we encourage applicants to apply only for positions that they are qualified for and passionate about.

Q - Can I submit one application for multiple positions? Or do I need to submit separate applications for each position?
A - We require separate applications for each position that you are interested in. However, your application information is saved for easy reapplication.

Q - What are the recommended internet browsers for filling out applications?
A - Our application site works seamlessly with most internet browsers, however we recommend using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Safari is not ideal, as flash may be required in order to work efficiently. If you are having any issues using your current browser, they may be fixed by switching to another browser.

Q - What kinds of references should I include on my application?
A - Please include professional references; people who can give insight into your work experience and performance.

Q - How do you protect my personal information?
A - Applicant information is never shared with anyone externally. We take the privacy of applicants very seriously.

Q - Will I receive notification that you received my application?
A - Yes, you will receive an email notification sent to the email address included in your application. If you do not receive this notification, or have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Adventist Health contact center at 844-383-5689.

Q - What interview process can I expect?
A - We often conduct first round screenings via phone or through HireVue (a video interviewing service). If you are selected to move on to the interview step, you will be contacted by a member of the Talent Acquisition team. In this next step you would meet with leader(s) and/or potential peers.

Q - Will I be informed if I am not selected for an interview?
A - Yes, you will receive an email or phone notification if you are not selected for an interview.

Q - What if I am an international candidate, and do not have a social security number, can I still apply?
A - Yes, a social security number is not required to apply. However, in order to work for Adventist Health you must be eligible to work in the United States.

Q - I am not interested in any of the posted positions, however I would love to work for Adventist Health. Can I submit a general application?
A - You can join our talent pool on our main careers website - Adventist Health Careers . Additionally, you can sign-up for job alerts for the jobs that you are interested in.
